Inverclyde Tourist Group

Inverclyde Tourist Group are people who are passionate about the local area. They got together in 2002 to promote Inverclyde in a friendly and informal way. They are all volunteers and are a non-profit-making organisation. They are proud to run tours of the local area and to share their knowledge with you. They can provide you with ideas about how you might spend your time within the area. They offer information on:

  • Places of interest to visit.
  • Sporting and leisure opportunities, including golf.
  • Local shopping: traditional and chain stores.
  • Transport: trains, buses, taxis, car hire.
  • Places to eat and drink.
  • Internet and telephone access.
  • Clan history and tartan.

For cruise ship passengers they also run local coach tours on cruise call days and can provide information on next port of call.  They offer three different guided coach tours of the local area. Tours are around two hours in duration, and will make your day here an interesting and enjoyable one.
